The Groveport Community School is closed for the rest of this week because of a widespread outbreak of the Flu Virus. School officials say the school will be closed for the next two days to clean the building.

They didn’t have the numbers on exactly how many children were out sick, but they did say that it is a significant number.
The seasonal flu can cause fever, headaches, body aches, cough and sore throat.
More and more flu cases are popping up across the state.
In Franklin county, there are 79 people hospitalized because of the flu. There are four cases in Delaware and Licking counties and cases being reported in Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison and Union Counties as well.
Remember though the weather has been decent we are still in flu season until March…SO WASH YO HANDS!!!
