According to documents that leaked yesterday, Swizz Beatz owes over $2.2 million in taxes to the state of New York and the IRS. Here’s the breakdown of what he owes:
- $652,727 to the IRS, which filed a lien against Swizzy on June 3 for income taxes from 2008;
- $162,300 to the state of New York, which filed a tax warrant against Swizz and his ex-wife, Mashonda, in February of 2009;
- Another $556,986 to the IRS from a lien filed against him and Mashonda in August of 2008 for 2007 income taxes;
- and yet another $842,645 to the IRS from a lien filed against Swizzy and Mashonda in March of 2008 – this time in New Jersey (the other two were in New York).
