A biopic about Oprah Winfrey is headed to the small screen next year. Writer Kitty Kelley has optioned her unauthorized biography, “Kitty Kelley’s Oprah: A Biography” to become a TV movie or miniseries. Kelley’s book reportedly paints a sometimes unflattering portrait of Winfrey and is filled with personal details about her life. ,The Winfrey biopic is on track to hit the airwaves in the fall of 2011, around the same time that “The Oprah Winfrey Show” ends its run.
