Power 107.5 would like to congratulate our own Sam Prewitt aka SP Da Cool Kid. He is today’s Power 30 Under 30 Award Recipient. SP is growing as one of the next leaders in media.
SPdaCoolKid is one of radio’s brightest and quickest rising stars. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Sam moved to Columbus to attend Ohio Dominican University, where he currently works as an admissions counselor. While enrolled at ODU, Sam became involved with RadiODU, the student-run radio station where he was a radio personality for four years and managed the station for three years. At ODU Sam developed a passion for radio and the entertainment industry.
Shortly after graduating from ODU, Sam was hired at Radio One Columbus in June 2008. Using his charming personality to make his audience feel as if they’ve known him for years, he is simply “The Coolest Kid You Know.” You can catch Sam on air weekends from midnight to 6 a.m.
During football season, Sam also is a coach for the Columbus Knight Raiders, where he takes pride in being a positive role model for young men in the inner city. Sam loves to meet and connect with new people in his spare time. Sam is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
