Friday night on HBO’s Bill Maher show, he referred to himself as a “house n-“ If you watch Bill Maher regularly you know he pushes the envelope and is not a racist. Social media was outraged with some saying that HBO needs to fire him. Are you offended by Bill Maher’s use of the of n-word? And if you are offended, do you get offended when you go to a concert and Jay-Z performs “N- In Paris” and white people are singing the hook? Are you the same person when telling a story to a non-black person do you use phrases like, “and then the n-word said….” How offended are you really? Are you full time offended or part time offended at the use of the word?
