Chance The Rapper told fans Wednesday on that he and his fiancee, Kirsten Corley., will officially tie the knot this weekend.
“Now I’m locking eyes with the prettiest girl I ever seen in my almost-a-decade of life on earth,” he wrote on Twitter.
Chance added how he was nervous and “shy” to approach his new found crush but it was only because he knew it was a serious one referring to when Chance met Corley as a teen at his dad’s office party.
“Not just because it wasn’t my party, not because it was their moment to dance, not even cause I was nervous about dancing in front of folks,” he wrote. “It’s cause I knew I was gonna marry that girl. And I aint [sic] wanna jump the gun … so I … moved to the back of the crowd and never even introduced myself.”
Chance ended his Twitter story announcing that this weekend he will finally be marrying the love of his life. “16 years later it’s happening,” he wrote. “This wknd is the time, and the place is my wedding. I’m gonna dance with my wife because this is my destiny.”
