Netflix has taken a stand in Georgia Politics and is now fighting back. Netflix are the first Hollywood studio to do so. They are protesting the new abortion laws that politicians are trying to pass. They are doing this by assisting the ACLU as well as the protesters that are fighting back. The ACLU is the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU helps fight laws to keep individual rights of all people.

According to Time Magazine the chief content officer Ted Sarandos said “We have many women working on productions in Georgia, whose rights, along with millions of others, will be severely restricted by this law. It’s why we will work with the ACLU and others to fight it in court”. Netflix has even said they will rethink their investment in Georgia, even with the huge tax incentive the state gives the film giant.
