Meek signs more deals this time with Hov.
Philly rapper Meek Mill has not stop signing deals and making moves so far in 2019. Wednesday the rapper and businessman made a huge deal with Jay-Z and his Roc Nation.
The two have inked a deal that will bring Meek’s Dream Chasers label to the Roc Nation family.
This will be a joint venture and Meek will be president of the Dream Chasers label. Both men seem very happy about the deal and Hov definitely has faith that Meek will hold down the fort.
“Everything he has done leading up to this point shows he is ready to [lead] the next generation. We look at the big picture — this is way beyond signing artists and having hot records.”
Meek also added: “I think it’s time for me to dive into the business. I’m 32 years old, I’m in a nice spot in the music business and I can help artists.”
What does this mean for Maybach Music? According to The Jasmine Brand, “Meek will reportedly continue to record for Maybach/Atlantic and release some “new content” prior to the Aug. 28 start of his Legendary Nights tour with Future.”
