(metrosource) Hip-hop star T-Pain is looking to explore a different musical genre.  During a recent interview with “MySpace Music,” the “Buy You A Drink” singer said he is planning on releasing a Christian Pop album.  He explains, quote, “A lot of people don’t know this about me, but I’m a deeply spiritual person.  Dude, I go to church just as much as I go to the strip club.  That’s saying something.”  T-Pain says the record is tentatively titled “Even Heaven Got A VIP,” and is expected to drop on September 9th.  He understands that such a drastic change in his sound may catch some fans by surprise, but points out that he isn’t your stereotypical hip-hop artist.  T-Pain states, quote, “I don’t just sit around and watch ‘Scarface’ and drink Henny all day.  In fact, I just got through watching ‘The Notebook.'”  T-Pain also says that he will no longer be using auto-tune on his songs…I would bet that his 15 minutes is almost over!
