Over 10 years have passed since Jay-Z recorded and released “Big Pimpin'”, the 1999 single that solidified Jay-Z’s superstar status.

Hip Hop has taken a bad rap. Mostly because the labels and the media choose to only promote the most negative music to make money. Still Hip Hop has a long history of positive uplifting songs. Here’s my Top 9. 9. Ed O G And The Bulldogs Be A Father To Your Child. Dope ode […]

Though her appearances during the Rock The Bells tour were met with mixed reactions from both critics and fans alike, Lauryn Hill is pushing on.

Lauryn Hill spoke with MTV about the “free-form” style of her Rock The Bells performance in NY this past weekend.

Lauryn capped her long-awaited return to the stage with a bang. She performed the Fugees’ “Fu-gee-la” to close her set at the NY stop of Rock The Bells and she grabbed some celebs (Mary J Blige, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats, John Legend & Jay-Z) who were watching her performance close by.

Irv Gotti’s done some pretty questionable things in his career… most notably forcing the likes of Ja Rule and Ashanti down our throats in the early 2000s. However, nothing that Gotti has done could possibly compare to his comments to Vibe.com regarding Nicki Minaj and Lauryn Hill. This is just the beginning of Nicki Minaj. Her […]
