Just two years after brutally crushing the hearts and souls of devoted Ohio fans, Lebron James poured the last bit of salt in Clevelanders’ wounds by finally capturing a National Championship last night. This proved to be the ultimate diss to all his haters and the ending to an era of “ringless” jokes. What could be a sweeter revenge for good ol’ LBJ?

James reported to going on a twitter hiatus starting on April 27 and the beginning of playoffs so that he could focus- in other words, he couldn’t have his game thrown off by the billions of hateful and offensive tweets streaming in daily.

So, how did he do it? Probably a perfect combo of skill, motivation from haters, and a overwhelmingly cocky attitude. Just this morning, Lebron tweets, “OMFG I think it just hit me, I’m a CHAMPION!! I AM a CHAMPION!!” So glad to see he’s still staying humble.

So, the lingering question haunting the nation: Now that Lebron has proven his worth by finally achieving the NBA’s ultimate reward, is it time to admit he made the right decision by leaving the Cavs, or continue hating on an national MVP who is now sitting pretty on top of the world?
