Columbus police and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers announced that they are teaming up in the search for the suspect dubbed the ‘Hilltop Creeper.’
Crime Stoppers said it would be offering a reward of up to $2,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in the break-ins.
Bill Taylor with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers said he hopes anyone with information will want to come forward anonymously with information. He said money is a big motivator for people.
In an eight-month span, the creeper has reportedly attempted to break into or has successfully broken into 19 homes, according to police.
In some of the reported break ins , the suspect reportedly was seen standing over the homeowner and even touched them while they slept.
here go the scoop on the suspect…..He is about 20 to 40 years old, between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs between 175 and 195 pounds.
