Oprah Winfrey is finally answering the long dangling question about the future of her talk show. A letter sent to Oprah’s staff on Thursday says the talk show host will announce an end date for “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on today’s edition of the show. The letter, signed by Tim Bennett, the president of Winfrey’s Harpo Inc., reads, in part, quote, “The sun will set on the ‘Oprah” show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.”
