Earl Simmons aka DMX is currently being held in a local county jail in Arizona after being arrested yesterday (Tuesday March 9) for parole violation.
DMX’s lawyer Gary Jenkins did not release specific information but hinted to the violations being drug related, when he spoke to TMZ “He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment…..We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him. He’s a talented man…we’re praying for him.”
DMX attempted to throw a Gospel Concert for Independence High School in Glendale, AZ but was NOT given the nod by school officials.
