The nation’s oldest African American civil rights group, the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People, endorsed a resolution this past weekend supporting same-sex marriage in America. The chair woman of the Board of Directors of the NAACP, Roslyn M. Brock stated “we have and will oppose efforts to codify discrimination into law”.

President and CEO of the NAACP also stated “Civil marriage is a civil right and a matter of civil law. The NAACP’s support for marriage equality is deeply rooted in the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and equal protection of all people”. Looks like the NAACP agrees with our President. What do you think?
