Toya and Memphitz are Splitting Up

Lil Wayne’s baby mama Toya Wright is about to be single once again. We’ve learned she’s separated from music producer hubby Memphitz and they’re now living 2,500 miles apart.

According to sources, Toya (who has a kid with former husband Lil Wayne) and Memphitz have been having big problems … Memphitz recently moved to LA, leaving her behind in ATL.

The couple has been married since 2011. Neither side has filed for divorce yet but we’re told Memphitz will let Toya file the papers. He’s made it clear, reconciliation is NOT in the cards.

Ludacris Got Married the Same Day He Was Engaged

Luda popped the question to long time GF Eudoxie during the day … then took her out to dinner at a Georgia restaurant. When they returned home, a wedding dress was draped over a piece of furniture.

This was all a surprise to Eudoxie, but she was game so they got married on the spot. A few friends and family members were there to celebrate.

BTW … Luda’s mom picked out the dress, and Eudoxie had no objections.

They blew out of town a day or so later for their honeymoon in Costa Rica.

Congrats!

Teyana Taylor Will be Spending More Time in Ohio

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired New York Knicks guards J.R. Smith and Teyana Taylor’s boo Iman Shumpert in a multi-team trade that also sends guard Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Oklahoma City gives the Cavaliers a protected future first-round draft pick and sends guardLance Thomas to the Knicks, league sources said. As part of the trade, the Cavaliers sent rookie center Alex Kirk, forward Lou Amundson and a 2019 second-round pick to the Knicks, sources said.

The Thunder’s pick to Cleveland is protected through No. 18 in 2015 and through No. 15 in 2016 and ’17. Beyond that, it becomes two second-round picks.

For New York, the deal is a salary dump to clear cap space. The Knicks unload the $6.4 million owed to Smith next season, giving them approximately $28 million in salary-cap space this summer.

Monster Suing Beats and Dr. Dre

Monster, which co-designed the original Beats By Dr. Dre headphones, is filing suit against Beats Electronics, the firm acquired by Apple in May and co-founded by musician Dr. Dre and producer Jimmy Iovine.

The audio tech company and its CEO, Noel Lee, say in the suit that he and Monster invented the technology behind the Beats By Dr. Dre headphones. The suit claims that Iovine and Dre (Andre Young) committed fraud in pirating the headphones away from Lee and Monster.

The suit, filed in San Mateo (Calif.) County Superior Court, charges that the Beats co-founders concealed the role of Monster and Lee in designing and engineering the headphone line, as well as educating them about engineering, manufacturing, distributing and selling the headphones that Monster and Lee invented.

After severing ties with Monster, Beats was purchased by Apple for $3 billion. But as the Beats co-founders made millions, Monster lost millions from its investment in the rise of Beats, the suit charges. Had Lee retained his original 5% interest in Beats, his total stake in the Beats-Apple deal would have been worth over $100 million, the suit alleges.
