1. Now through July 31st, the King Arts Complex is having their 2015 Summer Arts Camp. Through visual and performing arts activities, students ages 5-13 will explore the importance of the Voting Rights Act and becoming a voice of a new generation. It’s at 867 Mt. 2. Sunday is the second annual “Celebrating Fathers” event, it’s a community event celebrating fathers and father figures. There will be a live band, DJs, local artists, and food by Willowbeez Soul Veg. It’s from 4-8pm at Mayme Moore Park. For more info, email WillowbeezSoulVeg@gmail.com.
