Subway and Jared Fogle have agreed to a mutual suspension of their relationship as authorities look into Fogle as part of a child pornography investigation.
In announcing the suspension, Subway added, “Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.”
Since news of the investigation broke, all mentions of Fogle have been removed from Subway’s website — including the Subway Timeline, a history of the sandwich chain.
Fogle has been the face of Subway for over 15 years — the first commercial aired back on January 1, 2000.
Thus far, Fogle has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
