Cardi B has been one of the undisputed stars of the hip-hop game throughout 2017, but that doesn’t mean she’s making any less enemies than she was before. Now, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is being targeted in a new diss track by Joseline Hernandez called “Hate Me Now.” With some uptempo trap production underscoring her intimidation lyrics, there’s no denying that Hernandez means business.

The move is a curious one, going after someone like Cardi when she’s doing as well as she is. It seems like a long shot to get the win out of this, but perhaps Hernandez is simply hoping for the publicity to get her name into the hip-hop conversation again in a meaningful way. Though Cardi’s outspoken nature has earned her a polarizing reputation, she’s also seen other female emcees come out of the woodwork and latch themselves onto her name with the hopes of raising their own public profile. A couple of days ago, Hernandez teased the track by stating her intention of “exposing you hoes.” You can check out that full post below.
