Trust me this case blew me away too. The victim gets sentenced to life for killing the one causing them the harm, and not any kind of harm, but sex trafficking, drugs etc.

There is an outrage going on with celebrities, and social injustice advocates who are seeking justice for Cynthia Brown. At the age of 16 she was forced into drugs and prostitution after she ran away from home, and met some man but he name  Cut-Throat.

Cyntoia Brown said she was afraid of Johnny Allen, who had a house full of guns and was behaving strangely, when she shot and killed him in 2004 in Nashville, according to the Associated Press. This case has a documentary and has gained national attention. The now 25-year-old is being called a sex trafficking victim and many say that with changes in the way cases such as hers are prosecuted today, she would have never been sentenced to life behind bars.

Celebrities like Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian speak out
