Friday afternoon, a former Westerville teacher Christine Gill pled guilty to theft and fraud.  Prosecutors state Ms. Gill had given false calms of being diagnosed with cancer and faking her husband’s death. As a result, Ms. Gill will serve 36 months of community control and will have to give back $57,000 which will be taken out her retirement funds. Ms. Gill also confesses to theft in an office and received two counts of fraud due to getting “paid time off”.
