Janet Jackson will receive the Icon Award at this year’s Billboard Awards when the ceremony takes place on May 20.
This is so deserving , I’m excited to see her hit the stage again, actually i haven’t seen Janet since that last Super Bowl.
She’ll also take the stage at the show to give fans her first televised performance in nine years.
Past Icon award recipients include Prince, Stevie Wonder, Cher, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez.
The award will be before Janet newly State of the World Tour!
