YES, you’ve heard it right! Bill Cosby’s press spokesman Andrew Wyatt said in a TV interview that the comedian used the term “amazing experience” when describing his time in prison. Cosby was sentenced in September to three to 10 years in prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004. He is currently serving his time behind bars at SCI Phoenix, the prison outside Philadelphia which is 45 min his home in Montgomery County . Cosby was moved to the prison’s general population two weeks ago and is now in a single cell without a cellmate, he was previously being held in a single cell in a unit adjacent to the infirmary. Mr Cosby doesn’t want anyone visiting him while behind bars outside of his attorneys, not even his wife Camille. He stated he prefers to speak to her by phone 3 times a day 3 minutes each. His spokesman said Cosby has lost weight while behind bars, he wakes up at 3:30 in the morning to exercise in his cell. Inmates can spend several hours a day in the gym or exercise yard, and other time in the library, class or day room. He don’t eat bread, dessert, and don’t drink coffee anymore which is funny because Mrs.Cosby been trying to get him to stop for 55 years and it took this for him to stop. He does not eat in the area with other residents, he does not have a cellmate, and he does not exercise with other residents. However other inmates are assigned to help him throughout the day, given his age and disability (legally blind). Overall the comedian is mentally strong and doing well while serving his time.
