Yes honey FREAKNIK is heading back to the city of Atlanta. If you caught some of the videos of Freaknik on twitter, you would know that Freaknik is pretty much an event that started off as a picnic and grew into something that people couldn’t control. So the word FREAK is in there for a reason. Everyone from different schools would come to kick it and it turned into a lot of entertainment, where women showed it all and men had their hands full.

Freaknik is heading back to ATL but this time as an annual concert, known as Freaknik 2.0 that will take place at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood, with Atlanta-based After 9 Partners producing the event.

The performers to hit the stage will be, Project Pat, Uncle Luke, Da Brat, Foxy Brown, Kilo Ali, Bun B. and Pastor Troy. Tickets, which range from $46-$221, are on sale now at www.livenation.com.

The first freaknik took place in 1983, and ended in the late 90’s.
