It is amazing to think that battle rap has gone from street corners to BET stages and now have an official app. Smack and the URL are the first to come with an app and subscription for fans to watch battles.
Right now the highly anticipated battles of Rum Nitty vs Nu Jerzey Twork and Cassidy vs Goodz are on the app. Along with battles from Born Legacy 6, Volume 4 and Banned Legacy.

Once you download the app, pay the $7.99 subscription and create an account you will have access to ALL the battles on the app. Once you click on battles you will be able to watch, share and even create a scorecard, round for round, for who you think had a bar or “Don DeMarco” moment.
There is also an artist page where you can watch their specific battles. You can create your own playlist of battles you love.
The launch of the app has seen more praises then negative feedback. There were some users having issues with paying for the app but the URL team made sure to respond to Twitter feedback and were quick to assist those with issues.
It’s a new day in battle rap and Smack once again is elevating the culture to new levels. SALUTE!
