After a ticket tax swept the city, a group is trying to appeal it as soon as it got in. They will be giving signatures to the city on Monday to show how many people don’t want this tax. This tax was created in building the art community, but also to renovating certain buildings in the city. The city is hoping this will generate 6 million dollars in taxes a year. Many are frustrated while others find this important. There are studies saying that the art community is underfunded but, there are others saying that they support the community.
