It looks like Jennifer Lopez will indeed become the next judge on American Idol. Several sources say that J.Lo is about to sign on the dotted line and an official announcement is expected early next month. (Steven Tyler will also be announced at that time.) According to Deadline.com, J.Lo initially asked for $15 million which also included guarantees from Fox for future movies and pilots. Idol producers called her bluff and J.Lo eventually settled for $12 mil.
