Surely, you’ve heard of Silly Bandz by now: those rubber bracelets that have fun shapes when they’re not around your wrist. They’re all the rage among grade school kids… and minglin’ singles in the city, apparently. Silly Bandz have hit the New York bar scene. People are now using them as ice breakers instead of cheesy pickup lines. Women are even giving them to guys as a less aggressive way to flirt. Sounds a little creepy now? We’re just waiting for the sting operation on Dateline.
