Will Ferrell, who has always been a special guest on Conan O’Brien’s talk show, made an appearance on the show recently not as himself but in character as Ron Burgundy. The Crowd went nuts as Ron played some jazz flute along with the band. Ron also gave Conan some style tips while on the show. But the biggest reason for his appearance was to make an important announcement: Paramount Pictures has officially greenlit a sequel to the hugely popular 2004 comedy “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.”

Ron had this to say, “As of oh-nine-hundred hours Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel for ‘Anchorman.’ It is official: There will be a sequel to ‘Anchorman.'”

He then played more jazz flute and disappeared into the curtains. Check out the video and stay tuned for more announcements on the release of Anchor Man.
