A Virginia daycare worker was fired this week for posting pictures of children on Instagram making fun of them. The mother of the child pictured left, Ethan, saw the pictures on Instagram and alerted the daycare supervisor. The caption of the picture (left) stated “He is thinking cuz sure can’t talk,”. Ethan’s mother was upset because he is battling speech problems and she couldn’t understand why her son was being humiliated. The child pictured right was being made fun of his teeth being compared to a cartoon character.
The daycare worker was immediately fired and social services is investigating. But I want to know do you think it’s fair that the worker was only fired… or do you think a stricter punishment should be given?
